Anti-ANG I Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against Angiotensin I, the decapeptide hormone generated when renin cleaves angiotensinogen and the direct substrate for angiotensin-converting enzyme within the renin-angiotensin system. The unconjugated antibody supports investigations of cardiovascular regulation, fluid homeostasis, vascular remodelling, and the proteolytic cascade that ultimately yields vasoactive Angiotensin II. It is applied in Western blot workflows to monitor angiotensinogen processing and peptide maturation across cell and tissue lysates, and in ELISA assays used to quantify Angiotensin I in research samples from human-derived experimental systems.
