Anti-Amyloid beta Peptide 42 Antibody [NT 6C8]

A mouse monoclonal (NT 6C8) antibody raised against Amyloid beta Peptide 42, offered by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation. The antibody is unconjugated, of the IgG1 isotype, and has been validated for use in IHC and ELISA with human samples.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was raised against full length human beta amyloid peptide 42 and recognises the N-terminal peptide (DAEFRHDS) of human beta amyloid peptides as well as full length Aβ40, Aβ42 and Aβ43. It is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution with double distilled water is required.
