Anti-Amyloid beta Peptide 42 Antibody [NT 3F5]

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal reagent (clone NT 3F5) raised against Amyloid beta Peptide 42. It is of the IgG2b isotype and supplied unconjugated and lyophilised. The antibody is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA applications and reacts with human samples.

The immunogen is full length human beta amyloid peptide 42. According to the manufacturer, the antibody recognises the N-terminal peptide (DAEFRHDS) of human beta amyloid peptides and full length Aß40, Aß42 and Aß43. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the product is formulated lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. The reported epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14, and reconstitution is performed with double distilled water.
