Anti-Amyloid beta Peptide 42 Antibody [CA10 C11]

Mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, clone CA10 C11, raised against Amyloid beta Peptide 42. The reagent is supplied lyophilised and is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB). The host species is Mouse, the isotype is IgG2b, and the antibody is unconjugated.

Reactivity is confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody recognises the C-terminal sequence (MVGGVVIA) of Aß42 and full length Aß42, with the immunogen prepared as KLH conjugated to a short peptide corresponding to this C-terminal region. It does not recognise amyloid beta peptide 40, and cross-reactivity to amyloid beta peptide 43 is ~5% in ELISA. Purity is by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the formulation is lyophilised from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2.

Concentration is reconstitution dependent. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C on arrival, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water. The source data lists the epitope as Sp2/0-Ag14.
