Anti-Amyloid beta Peptide 40 Antibody [CV9 8B2]

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone CV9 8B2) targets Amyloid beta Peptide 40 and is validated for ELISA applications. It is unconjugated, of the IgG1 isotype, and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody was raised against KLH conjugated to a short peptide corresponding to the C-terminal of Aβ40, and specifically recognises the C-terminal sequence (GLMVGGVV) of Aβ40 and full length Aβ40.

The product is supplied lyophilised from a solution of 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2, and is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. The epitope is reported as Sp2/0-Ag14. Material is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles, and reconstituted with double distilled water. Concentration is reconstitution dependent.
