Anti-Amyloid beta Peptide 40 Antibody [CV9 7B10]

This Mouse monoclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com, clone CV9 7B10, selectively recognises the C-terminal epitope of the 40-residue Amyloid beta peptide. It does not cross-react with the closely related Aβ42 species, allowing researchers to discriminate the two principal Aβ variants in biochemical assays. The reagent is supplied as 100 µg of lyophilised IgG1, unconjugated for direct labelling or detection with a secondary reagent.

Validated for ELISA and reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the antibody supports Alzheimer's disease research into amyloid precursor protein processing, senile plaque composition, and γ- and β-secretase activity in cellular and animal models.
