Anti-Amyloid-β Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed for sensitive detection of endogenous Amyloid-β in human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and it is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and ELISA workflows. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human Amyloid-β around the non-phosphorylation site of T743, which allows the reagent to recognise native rather than post-translationally modified species of the Aβ peptide. For best stability, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C on arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided between uses.
