Anti-Amylin (H28) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Amylin, a 37-residue peptide hormone also known as islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) that is co-secreted with insulin by pancreatic beta-cells.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is packaged as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated antibody. It has been validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows and shows reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples.

This reagent supports studies of beta-cell biology, type 2 diabetes mechanisms, amyloid deposition, and amylin physiology in metabolic disease models.
