Anti-Amylin Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against human Amylin (also known as IAPP, Islet amyloid polypeptide, Insulinoma amyloid peptide, or DAP), this affinity-purified primary antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume of liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human Amylin, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of the Amylin protein. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. The reagent is unconjugated, of IgG isotype, and is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
