Anti-AMPKα1 (R493) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting AMPKα1 (R493) is offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

It was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 470–520 of Human AMPKα1 and detects endogenous levels of the AMPKα1 protein. According to the manufacturer's specification sheet, the antibody does not cross-react with AMPKα2. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 63 kDa.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
