Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets AMPKα1/2 (N180) and is validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). It is provided unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
The reagent was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 150–200 of human AMPKα1, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of both AMPKα1 and AMPKα2 protein. The target has a molecular weight of approximately 63 kDa. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen by affinity chromatography, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples.
