Anti-Müllerian Hormone Receptor Type II (AMHR2) is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor in the TGF-β superfamily that binds anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and signals through SMAD1/5/8 to direct Müllerian duct regression during male fetal development and to modulate gonadal function in postnatal life. Altered AMHR2 signaling has been investigated in granulosa cell tumors and in subsets of ovarian and testicular cancers, making the receptor a focus of reproductive biology and oncology research.

This Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial. The antibody is unconjugated, which lets users pair it with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary detection reagents of their choosing.

Validated applications include Western blot, where it can be used to detect AMHR2 in lysates from reproductive tissues and AMH-responsive cell lines, and immunohistochemistry, which supports visualization of receptor distribution in fixed tissue sections. Reactivity has been tested against human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling comparative studies across model organisms and human specimens.
