This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against the Anti-Müllerian Hormone Receptor Type II (AMHR2) and detects endogenous receptor protein across human, mouse, and rat samples. AMHR2 is a single-transmembrane serine/threonine kinase that serves as the dedicated type II receptor for Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), assembling a heteromeric complex with type I receptors ALK2, ALK3, and ALK6 to drive phosphorylation of SMAD1/5/8 during Müllerian duct regression in the male fetus and to regulate granulosa cell activity in the postnatal ovary.

Validated for Western blot on lysates prepared from reproductive tissues and cancer cell lines, the unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as 100 µl of liquid in a single vial and pairs cleanly with standard HRP- or fluorescence-conjugated secondary antibodies. The immunogen corresponds to a synthetic peptide derived from the human AMHR2 sequence, and the reagent recognizes the receptor near its predicted molecular weight of 63 kDa.

Common research applications include studies of Persistent Müllerian Duct Syndrome (PMDS), gonadal development, ovarian reserve and folliculogenesis, polycystic ovary syndrome, primary ovarian insufficiency, and AMH signaling in granulosa cell tumors and other reproductive tract cancers. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic procedures.
