Anti-AMBP Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised against AMBP, the alpha-1-microglobulin/bikunin precursor protein that is cleaved post-translationally into alpha-1-microglobulin (a heme- and radical-binding plasma factor) and bikunin (a Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor incorporated into inter-alpha-inhibitor complexes). The unconjugated antibody is supplied in a vial containing 100 µl of ready-to-use reagent and has been validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat tissue samples. Typical applications include profiling hepatic AMBP expression, mapping renal bikunin deposition, characterizing oxidative-stress responses, and investigating inflammatory protease signaling cascades. For best results, aliquot upon first use and store refrigerated at 4 °C to preserve activity; for longer term storage, freeze at -20 °C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to avoid loss of titre.
