Anti-AMACR / P504S Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase (AMACR), a peroxisomal and mitochondrial enzyme also referred to as P504S in diagnostic pathology. Provided as a 100 µl unconjugated reagent, it is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, and is widely used by surgical pathologists as an adjunct marker for prostate adenocarcinoma, where it produces a characteristic cytoplasmic granular staining pattern that helps separate malignant glands from benign prostatic epithelium. The reagent is also applied in renal tumor workups, including evaluation of papillary renal cell carcinoma, and in studies of colorectal neoplasia where AMACR upregulation has been documented in the literature.
