Anti-AMACR Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for AMACR (alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase). The reagent is unconjugated and of IgG isotype, raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-138 of human AMACR (NP_055139.4).

Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). The antibody is reported to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The target protein runs at approximately 42 kDa / 43 kDa.

The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. It ships at 4°C and on receipt should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500-1:2,000, IHC 1:50-1:200, and ICC/IF 1:50-1:200.
