Anti-ALS Antibody

The polyclonal antibody offered by Antibodies.com targets the acid-labile subunit (ALS), also known as IGFALS, a liver-derived glycoprotein that assembles into ternary complexes with insulin-like growth factors IGF-1 and IGF-2 together with binding proteins IGFBP-3 or IGFBP-5, extending the circulating half-life of IGFs. Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative at approximately pH 7.2, and is validated for Western Blot detection across human, mouse, and rat samples. The 100 µl pack supports standard immunoblotting workflows, and the polyclonal clonality enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, useful when probing full-length ALS expression in hepatic tissue or cell lysate preparations.
