ALPP (Alkaline Phosphatase, Placental) is a glycosylated membrane-bound enzyme that hydrolyzes phosphate groups at alkaline pH, with strongest physiological expression in syncytiotrophoblasts of the placenta. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against ALPP and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. Researchers investigating gestational biology, germ cell tumor markers (seminoma, ovarian carcinoma), and placental development routinely use anti-ALPP antibodies to localize the enzyme in tissue sections and to detect the ~66 kDa placental isoform in lysates by immunoblotting. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal serum, unconjugated for flexible secondary antibody pairing and direct enzymatic or fluorescent detection schemes.
