Anti-ALPP Antibody

Placental alkaline phosphatase (ALPP) is targeted by a Mouse monoclonal IgG from Antibodies.com, supplied as 50 µl of purified, unconjugated antibody in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The 50% glycerol matrix supports storage at -20 degrees C while limiting damage from repeated freeze-thaw cycles on the vial contents.

The unconjugated, host-mouse antibody is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry on Human samples, detecting the glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored membrane protein in cell lysates and fixed cultured cells and producing a band near 58 kDa on reduced SDS-PAGE gels. Researchers working on placental development and trophoblast differentiation, on germ cell tumor pathology such as seminoma, embryonal carcinoma, and yolk sac tumor, and on ovarian or lung carcinoma cell models use it as a primary reagent for research use only.
