Rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against placental alkaline phosphatase (ALPP, also called PLAP) and validated by Antibodies.com for Western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) of human and rat samples. The 200 µl unconjugated format is supplied ready to pair with a user-selected secondary antibody, so the same vial can be reused across HRP-based immunoblots, biotin-streptavidin detection schemes, or fluorescent imaging setups without compatibility constraints.

ALPP is a GPI-anchored membrane glycoprotein whose expression is closely tied to trophoblastic differentiation, and it is routinely used as a histological and molecular marker of germ-cell-derived tumors such as seminoma, embryonal carcinoma, and certain ovarian carcinomas. Researchers investigating placental development, reproductive immunology, gestational disease mechanisms, or the differentiation state of germ cell tumor models therefore rely on anti-ALPP reagents as both a confirming marker and a tool for isolating ALPP-positive cell populations. The antibody has been qualified against endogenous and recombinant ALPP, with each lot evaluated to confirm consistent band patterns on Western blot and to limit lot-to-lot variability between aliquots.

Storage follows standard polyclonal IgG practice: keep the vial refrigerated, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by working from small aliquots during extended experiments. The unconjugated design makes it straightforward to scale the reagent between pilot experiments and larger IP studies without re-optimising the detection chemistry.
