The alpha Tubulin antibody from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG (clone AC012) that recognizes an epitope on the alpha-tubulin subunit of microtubules. It cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a broadly useful reagent for cytoskeletal studies across mammalian systems. Validated applications include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, so the same lot can support loading-control work on membranes, subcellular localization in fixed tissue, and pull-downs of tubulin-containing complexes. Supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 100 µl, the antibody is intended for research use only and can be paired with a labeled secondary reagent of the user's choice. Alpha tubulin migrates near 50 kDa on SDS-PAGE, which gives a clean reference band for normalizing total protein input in Western blot workflows.
