Anti-Alpha-Synuclein Antibody [8F12]

Offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, this mouse monoclonal [8F12] reagent targets Alpha-Synuclein. The antibody is of the IgG2a isotype, unconjugated, and raised in mouse. It is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) applications and shows reactivity with human samples. The immunogen is recombinant human α-synuclein (1-140 aa) expressed in E. coli. Supplied as a lyophilised preparation from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2, the antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and reconstituted with double distilled water. For handling, the product is shipped at 4°C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
