Anti-Alpha Fetoprotein Antibody [AFP-Y2]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone AFP-Y2) is raised against Alpha Fetoprotein and is validated for ELISA and WB applications. The unconjugated IgG2b reagent reacts with human samples and, according to cross-reactivity testing, does not recognise human normal serum proteins.

The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0. It is generated using purified human AFP from amniotic fluid as the immunogen, with the epitope defined as Sp2/0-Ag14.

Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water, and concentration is reconstitution dependent. For handling, the product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
