Anti-alpha Actin Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises alpha actin and is validated for Western blot across human, mouse, and rat samples. Alpha-actin isoforms (~42 kDa) serve as cytoskeletal markers — alpha-smooth muscle actin delineates smooth muscle cells and myofibroblasts, while alpha-sarcomeric actin labels striated muscle — making this reagent useful both as a Western blot loading control and for characterising contractile cells, muscle-rich tissues, and fibrosis models. Supplied as 100 µg in liquid format, unconjugated, and shipped in a vial ready for dilution into standard WB buffers.
