Alpha-2 antiplasmin (SERPINF2) is the principal physiological inhibitor of plasmin in circulating blood, and the rabbit polyclonal antibody to this target from Antibodies.com is supplied at 100 µl as an unconjugated primary reagent validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. The antibody recognizes the human protein, supporting studies of fibrinolysis regulation, congenital and acquired bleeding disorders, thromboembolic disease, hepatic synthetic function, and clot dissolution in vascular pathology. The polyclonal format offers multi-epitope recognition, which improves sensitivity in denatured lysate workflows and preserves native antigen detection in fixed tissue sections and immunofluorescence preparations. Unconjugated, the reagent pairs with user-selected secondary antibodies and reporter enzymes for flexible assay design. Store refrigerated, protect from light, and aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only.
