This Mouse monoclonal antibody, produced by Antibodies.com, targets human alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (SERPINA3), a serine protease inhibitor that circulates as an acute-phase reactant during inflammation. Clone B5B11 was raised against the purified target and is supplied as a 100 µg lyophilised vial that reconstitutes cleanly in PBS or another appropriate buffer for immediate use in immunoblotting workflows.

Validated for Western blot application, the reagent detects the target in human cell and tissue lysates under reducing conditions and is unconjugated, giving laboratories full flexibility to pair it with their own HRP, fluorescent, or alkaline phosphatase secondary antibodies. The IgG1 isotype and murine origin make it compatible with standard anti-mouse secondary reagents in blocking buffers such as 5% non-fat milk or BSA.

The antibody supports research into SERPINA3 biology across multiple contexts, including hepatocyte and inflammatory cell models, neurological tissue samples, and tumor-derived cell lines where SERPINA3 is often dysregulated. The lyophilised format provides extended shipping stability at refrigerated temperatures and supports long-term freezer storage once the vial is reconstituted into working aliquots, reducing freeze-thaw losses across repeated experiments.
