Anti-alpha 1 Antichymotrypsin Antibody [B4H12]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody (clone B4H12) is raised against human plasma-derived alpha 1 Antichymotrypsin (SERPINA3, also known as AACT/ACT/Serpin A3) and is supplied as a 500 µg pack in lyophilised form for reconstitution with double distilled water. The unconjugated preparation has been purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from an Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma line and is validated for Western blotting (WB) on human samples, making it suitable for studies of the serpin pathway and acute-phase response. Because the concentration is reconstitution-dependent, users are advised to determine the working titre empirically for their specific assay. The reagent is lyophilised from a 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2 to preserve activity, and it is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to maintain performance.
