Anti-ALOX5AP Antibody

Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against human ALOX5AP (Arachidonate 5-Lipoxygenase Activating Protein), also known as FLAP — an approximately 18 kDa nuclear membrane scaffolding factor required for arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) activity and leukotriene biosynthesis.

The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 200 µl liquid volume intended for western blot detection of endogenous ALOX5AP in human-derived samples. FLAP acts at the nuclear envelope, presenting arachidonic acid to 5-LOX and supporting synthesis of LTB4, LTC4, LTD4, and LTE4, lipid mediators linked to inflammation, neutrophil chemotaxis, and vascular permeability.
