Anti-ALK (phospho Y1096) Antibody

This Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that recognises ALK when phosphorylated at Tyr1096. It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and has a reported molecular weight of 168 kDa.

The product is validated for Western blot (WB) applications on human samples and is recommended at dilutions between 1:500 and 1:2,000. Supporting validation data include Western blot analysis of HL-60 cell extracts, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane and detection using a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary antibody at 1:10,000 dilution. Tested conditions include HL-60 cells treated with 10% FBS after overnight serum-starvation and HL-60 cells exposed to UV for 15–30 minutes.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around Y1096 of human ALK (NP_004295.2), with sequence PNYCF. Upon receipt the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. Concentration is reported as lot-specific.
