Anti-ALDOC Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against fructose-bisphosphate aldolase C (ALDOC), a brain-enriched glycolytic isozyme that catalyzes the reversible cleavage of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate into glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. ALDOC is most highly expressed in cerebellar Purkinje cells and other regions of the central nervous system, where it serves as a marker for neuronal and glial populations, and is studied in the context of medulloblastomas, ependymomas, and other gliomas. The antibody is supplied unconjugated at 200 µl per vial, with a rabbit IgG isotype, and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue. Reactivity has been confirmed for human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational research that compares brain tumor or neural tissue across species.
