Anti-ALDH3A2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and offered by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent targets ALDH3A2 (aldehyde dehydrogenase family 3 member A2), a microsomal fatty aldehyde dehydrogenase also known as FALDH or ALDH10. The antibody is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated rabbit IgG in a pH 7.4 PBS buffer containing 0.05% sodium azide and 40% glycerol, at a concentration of 1.1 mg/mL, and has been affinity-purified against the antigen. It was generated against a fusion protein of human ALDH3A2 and recognises endogenous levels of the total ALDH3A2 protein, making it suitable for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The specificity and human reactivity make it a practical choice for laboratories studying fatty aldehyde metabolism, Sjögren–Larsson syndrome–related pathways, or general aldehyde detoxification research, while its polyclonal format offers broader epitope coverage for detection of the native target.
