Anti-ALDH3A1 Antibody

Manufactured for Antibodies.com and supplied through ABclonal, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against ALDH3A1 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family member A1), a dimeric NADP-preferring enzyme implicated in cellular aldehyde detoxification and corneal protection against UV-induced damage. The antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.30) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is affinity-purified to maximise specificity for endogenous ALDH3A1. It is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated, making it compatible with standard secondary-labelling workflows. The reagent reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, with an observed molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa, and has been validated for Western blotting (1:500–1:2,000), immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:200) and immunofluorescence (1:50–1:200). The immunogen corresponds to a recombinant fusion protein spanning amino acids 1–300 of human ALDH3A1 (NP_001128640.1). For stability, the product is shipped at 4 °C in cold packs; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
