Raised in rabbit as a monoclonal IgG and supplied by Antibodies.com at 200 µl per vial, this unconjugated primary antibody targets aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1, a cytosolic NAD(P)+-dependent homotetramer of roughly 55 kDa that catalyzes the irreversible oxidation of retinaldehyde to retinoic acid, anchoring its use in retinoid signaling research, stem cell biology, and the characterization of cancer stem cell populations in breast, lung, colon, and central nervous system tumors. The reagent is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation across human, mouse, and rat samples, allowing the same clone to be carried between xenograft, knockout, and tissue workflows without re-optimization. Store at -20 °C in working aliquots to preserve activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and pair with standard anti-rabbit secondary reagents for chromogenic or fluorescence detection. Each vial is associated with the in-house clone identifier A11132, giving laboratories a defined monoclonal lineage to track and cite in publications.
