The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–250 of human ALAS1 (NP_954635.1), and the target has a reported molecular weight of 70 kDa. The product is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000.
