Anti-ALAS1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets ALAS1 (5'-aminolevulinate synthase 1), the mitochondrial housekeeping enzyme that catalyzes the rate-limiting step of heme biosynthesis. Supplied as a 50 µl aliquot in a formulation of 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, the reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, making it suitable for use with standard secondary-detection workflows. It has been validated for Western Blotting and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence on human samples, where it detects endogenous levels of total ALAS1, and it is recommended as a reliable mitochondrial marker.
