Anti-AKT2 (phospho-S474) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against AKT2 phosphorylated at Serine 474. Supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, it has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human AKT2 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 474. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of AKT2 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser474 and does not cross-react with AKT1 and AKT3 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues. The expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 60 kDa. The reagent has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
