Anti-AKT1S1 Antibody

This polyclonal rabbit antibody from Antibodies.com targets AKT1S1, also known as PRAS40, and is supplied as a liquid preparation. It is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 150–256 of human AKT1S1/PRAS40 (NP_001092103.1).

The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000, IHC: 1:50–1:100, and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:100, and the target protein is observed at a molecular weight of 50 kDa.

The antibody is affinity-purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
