Anti-Akt1 (phospho Ser473) Antibody [X20-A]

This rabbit monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against Akt1 phosphorylated at Ser473 and is identified by the clone ID X20-A. It is unconjugated and presented as a liquid formulation in Tris Buffered Saline (pH 8.0) containing 10 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% sodium azide. The IgG antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB), ELISA, immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen corresponds to a peptide surrounding phospho-Ser473 at the C-terminal sequence of the human AKT1 protein. Manufacturer-recommended dilutions are 1:5,000 for Western blot and 1:100,000–1:200,000 for ELISA. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
