Anti-AKT1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal [OTI4D6] reagent targets AKT1, the serine/threonine kinase also known as PKB, and is raised against recombinant full-length human AKT1 (NP_005154) expressed in and purified from HEK293T cells. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a liquid at 1 mg/ml, purified by Protein A/G affinity chromatography and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 1% BSA, 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It has been validated for Western blotting (1:500–1:2,000), immunohistochemistry (1:150), immunofluorescence (1:100) and flow cytometry (1:100), making it a flexible primary antibody for signalling and cancer-research workflows. The clone shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, Rat, Canine and Monkey samples and is reported to cross-react with AKT3. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance. Mouse IgG1 isotype makes it compatible with a wide range of anti-mouse secondary reagents.
