Anti-AKT1 (Ab-450) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade reagent, this polyclonal primary antibody is raised in rabbit and targets endogenous AKT1 (also known as PKB alpha, Protein kinase B, RAC, or RAC-PK-alpha). The immunogen corresponds to a synthetic peptide spanning residues 448–452 (T-I-T-P-P) of human AKT1, and antisera were affinity-purified against the epitope-specific peptide to deliver a clean, total-protein detection reagent. Each 50 µl vial is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The unconjugated IgG is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections, and immunofluorescence/ICC, with reactivity confirmed across human, mouse, and rat samples, making it well suited to studies of PI3K/AKT signaling in oncology, metabolic disease, and cell-survival research.
