Anti-AKT (phospho-Y315) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against AKT and recognises the phosphorylated form at Tyrosine 315 (phospho-Y315). It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human AKT1 around the Tyr315 phosphorylation site. The antibody specifically detects endogenous AKT1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr315, and also recognises AKT2 and AKT3 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues. The expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 60 kDa. The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
