Anti-AKT (phospho-T450) Antibody

An affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human AKT1 around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 450. Distributed by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody detects endogenous levels of AKT1 only when phosphorylated at Thr450, and also recognises AKT2 and AKT3 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues. Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

Purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, achieved by epitope-specific affinity chromatography from rabbit antiserum. The observed molecular weight is approximately 60 kDa.
