Anti-AKT (phospho-T308) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against AKT and is specific for the phosphorylated form at threonine 308. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human AKT1 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 308.

The antibody detects endogenous levels of AKT1 only when phosphorylated at Thr308, and also recognises AKT2 and AKT3 when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The stated molecular weight is approximately 60 kDa. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.
