Anti-AKT (phospho-S473) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against AKT phosphorylated at serine 473 and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. It is unconjugated and reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples.

According to the manufacturer's specificity statement, the antibody detects endogenous levels of p-Akt protein only when phosphorylated at Ser473. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The reported molecular weight is ~60 kDa.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
