Anti-Akt (Ab-473) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes endogenous levels of total Akt protein and is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning aa. 471–475 (Q-F-S-Y-S) of the human Akt sequence. Supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, the unconjugated reagent is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and it is purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and it cross-reacts with Human and Mouse samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance.
