Anti-Akt (Ab-326) Antibody

This affinity-purified reagent from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a non-phosphopeptide derived from the tyrosine-326 region of human Akt (sequence N-D-Y(p)-G-R), allowing it to recognize endogenous levels of total Akt protein rather than a phospho-specific epitope. Supplied as 50 µl of liquid at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in PBS (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated IgG is recommended for western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, with reactivity confirmed against human and mouse samples. Recommended working dilutions are approximately 1:500–1:3000 for WB, 1:50–1:100 for IHC and 1:100–1:500 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
