Anti-AKR1C1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent selectively recognizes AKR1C1 (Aldo-Keto Reductase Family 1 Member C1), an NADPH-dependent cytosolic oxidoreductase that converts 3-, 17-, and 20-ketosteroids such as progesterone to their corresponding hydroxysteroid metabolites. The enzyme is widely studied in the context of steroid hormone metabolism, hepatic xenobiotic clearance, and hormone-responsive tumor biology, including breast, prostate, and endometrial cancer models.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is recommended for western blot and has been validated against the AKR1C1 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.
