Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member B10 (AKR1B10) is an NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase active in carbonyl metabolism. It is frequently overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, and certain chemoresistant tumors, and is studied as a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker in epithelial differentiation and smoking-related lung disease research.
The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal anti-AKR1B10 antibody is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µL vial and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. Polyclonal reactivity broadens epitope coverage, supporting detection of conformational or post-translationally modified forms of the target in cell lysates and paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
Researchers investigating tumor chemoresistance pathways, retinoid metabolism, or the link between AKR1B10 expression and clinical outcomes can use this reagent to profile target levels and correlate them with experimental or pathological endpoints.
