Anti-AKR1B1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and targets AKR1B1 (aldose reductase). It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in liquid form, manufactured using affinity purification. The antibody is validated for Western blot and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–316 of human AKR1B1 (NP_001619.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 36.5 kDa. The recommended working dilution for Western blot is 1:500–1:2,000. The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is shipped at 4°C. On receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
