Anti-AKAP8 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against AKAP8, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent. The antibody is raised in rabbit and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, reacting with human, mouse and rat samples. It specifically detects endogenous levels of total AKAP8 protein.

The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human AKAP8, and the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. It is provided in phosphate buffered saline without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺ (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
